Here at Mk Hearth we provide the most complete service for your fireplace in the industry. Click the following for more depth.

  • We provide chimney cleaning service, inspections, and video inspections. We use arial drone equipment to provide a proper inspection of the exterior of your chimney to ensure that flashings, chimney crowns, and caps are in good condition.

  • Have a draft?

    We have you covered, with draft inducing fans and automatic damper equipment. We do flue relining.

  • We provide sales service and installation. We will work with your existing masonry contractor or we can provide the masonry contracting as well.

  • We service direct vent fireplaces and unvented fireplaces, vented/unvented gas log sets, and electric fireplaces.

    Our annual service includes removal of glass front, logs, burners, and decorative media. Top to bottom vacuuming, and diagnostic testing of gas valves, pilots and electronics. An electronic gas leak detection test and carbon monoxide spillage test.

    Founder/Owner

    Mike established MK Hearth following a previous successful career in the plumbing and heating industry. He holds several professional credentials, including certifications from the National Fireplace Institute, and possesses a Connecticut heating and cooling license along with a home improvement contractor's license.

  • Kathleen Melahn

    Founder/Administration

    Kathleen, cofounder of MK Hearth, guides and oversees daily operations to ensure efficiency throughout the company.

    Lead Installation Technician

    Fabio has six years of experience installing some of the most sophisticated fireplaces in the industry.
